Shield of Hope Ministries was founded by Eric Bauer in June of 2014. Eric served in the US Air Force as Security Forces from 2001 – 2007. After serving in the Air Force, Eric joined the Austin Police Department in 2007, where he’s currently assigned to the violent crimes unit as a detective. Eric married his wife Kimberly in 2002 and they have three amazing children together and live in central Texas. Eric’s desire is to share his testimony and the gospel of Christ with other First Responders around the world. That is the sole purpose behind this ministry and we are blessed to have been given the opportunity to share the love of Christ with others.
