Jesus said that He came into the world as a light, so that whoever believes in him would not remain in darkness. (John 12:46) We have been sharing that message with the officers in Honduras since 2014 when I had the opportunity to go there for the first time.  I got to share my testimony in law enforcement with three officers. Afterwards, I asked what their needs were and they responded with- we need flashlights. It’s a simple tool, but so vital to their mission. When I got back to the states I hit the ground running. The Lord blessed us with a company called, Hybridlight who partnered with us to get flashlights into the hands of these officers.  To date, we have been able to provide hundreds of these 160 lumen solar flashlights to the officers in Honduras. These amazing lights do everything from charge their cell phones to provide them with light during low-light operations. More importantly we tell each officer, that these lights are an example of how God calls us to be a light in a dark world. As officers we have a wonderful opportunity to be that light in someone’s darkness just as Christ pulled us out of darkness and into His light!
